Check out this BEAUTY!  With a little crystal banding around the base of the cake and a large table scatter crystal used as the center “knot” of the bow, look at how this cake turned out.  Wow.   Thank you, Rachel, for sending me a picture of the final product.  Lovely vision!

Attended the wedding of 2 good friends, Eddie and Miranda, over the weekend at the Mandarin Oriental in DC.  It was such a fun night.  This wedding had it ALL: a Mariachi band, court jesters walking on stilts, break-dancing, belly-dancing, and the groom even performed a Michael Jackson tribute for his bride.  It was a blast, and yes, he did a great Michael Jackson!  Just when you thought the wedding couldn’t get more lively, it did!  One of the funnest weddings I’ve ever been to.  Even the food was unforgettable.  Cornish hens with a sweet potato hash and bok choy.  Soo delish!  I’ll post more pictures later, but I wanted to update the blog with a photo I took of the gorgeous wedding cake.  They used Wedded Glitz’s Crystal Trim on each layer, and can I just say how stunningly beautiful it was?  The cake was sparkling from all the way across the ballroom.  What a great night is was.  More pictures to follow!
